Bryan Rosales

NUTRITIONIST

Bryan Rosales is a nutritionist at San Fernando Community Health Center (SFCHC). His goal is to make an impact in the community by educating individuals of all ages to prevent or manage chronic diseases through the power of nutrition and physical activity.

A special focus of Rosales’ experience has been the opportunity to work in sports nutrition for major and minor league baseball teams. Prior to joining SFCHC, he served as a minor league baseball nutritionist with the Toronto Blue Jays. Previously, while earning his degree, he also completed an internship as a performance nutrition assistant with the Los Angeles Dodgers. In these capacities, Rosales gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience providing athletes nutritious meals and educational food demonstrations, designing healthy menus and conducting body composition testing on athletes via DEXA scan, a high-precision type of X-ray that measures bone mineral density and bone loss.

Rosales earned a Master of Science in human nutrition from California State University, Northridge and completed his dietetic internship in 2021.
